I can’t believe all I had to do was unplug the wheel speed sensor to disable the anti lock brakes making my car safe to drive again until I can get the new sensor installed! Oh, and on that note I want to mention I got the Autel AP200 diagnostic reader to read all the in depth diagnostic information. This dongle talks via bluetooth to android or iPhone OS on a phone or tablet. Autel claims that it will not work on a tablet, just phones, but it works on my tablet just fine. I even got it to work on a Kindle fire after forcing the Amazon OS into accepting the Google play store. It’s kind of funky with the iPhone, it won’t pair unless you tell it to pair BEFORE you insert the dongle. It cost me $50, I would not have been able to get this far without it.
Now that I have my full service code reader I have identified the bad wheel speed sensor and unplugged it, sending the car into limp home mode disabling the anti-lock brakes so I no longer have the ABS coming on randomly while driving. As for the grinding noise, I started the car with the hood open yesterday and the cooling fan made a grinding noise, but then started running smoothly. I have no idea what that’s about, just thankful it isn’t coming from the engine/transmission. As far as the rest of the transmission codes I am going to try topping off the transmission fluid again as that all started after I changed the transmission fluid and filter. I did it right, I got the car up to temp, then pumped transmission fluid in until it ran out the hole on the side and closed it up, but I’m wondering if somehow I just didn’t get enough fluid in there somehow. I understand these transmissions are very finicky when it comes to the amount of transmission fluid, and that if you are just a little bit low it can exhibit the dreaded P0730 code making it seem like the conductor plate needs to be replaced.
I did clear the codes, but since I am in limp mode, many modules (such as ESP) cannot be read. I have another wheel speed sensor on the way. ATE brand, which I believe is OEM. I will update this post as I learn more, and finally post the codes after I install the wheel speed sensor.
Error codes:
I have the codes. First, let me clarify, the grinding noise that someone said was associated with the ABS, it is happening right after I start the car, before I put it into gear. Only lasts a second or two. Has me and my Mercedes mechanic baffled. Codes are:

Update:
I’m having a problem clearing the codes. The same codes listed above are populating but under status it now reads “Not checked” instead of “Stored” for half of them when they all read “Stored” before. I tried to use my unit to clear all the codes, but that part of it is not very intuitive. I even disconnected the battery for 20 minutes and re-connected it. I thought that would clear the codes but I don’t think it did because codes like 9854, 9160, 9164 and 9854 are still populating as “Stored”(Electronic Seat Adjustment with memory(driver and passenger)), but my electronic seat adjustments work fine. Here in a few I will plug in my OBDII reader and click “ERASE CODES”, give it another spin, and see what pops up. I know this OBDII reader will at least reset the CEL, not sure about all the other module codes.
I am just happy the vehicle drives now with zero symptoms.
Finally!
My rear wheel speed sensor (L3) is coming today, I will post results after I clear the codes and after I have been driving it for a couple days. I may need another wheel speed sensor for my front right (L2) because I also have this error:
5110 – ESP electronic stability program L6/2 Right front speed sensor check connection
but I’m hoping that was just a fluke, it’s not the same error as the L3 sensor, which had multiple error references, the L2 was only referenced once, and with a different message, “check connection” which suggests to me that the signal may have just been an intermittent issue.

I should suggested this scanner (Autel MaxiDiag Elite MD802), but people do not want to spend the money.
Understand that you cannot drive around with all the codes that can’t be erased by Autel AP200 scanner.
